Breakthru Beverage launched a campaign to highlight and educate vendors on the merits and distinction of Sake. It’s a spirit that many know but are unacquainted with. We created everything seen in the piece - the opportunity gave us an chance to use a digital painting process and rigged character animations to bring the client’s vision to life.
Though colorful and fun, the purpose of this project was to educate. We partnered with the expertise of Eric Swanson, Breakthru’s Director of Sake to get down into the weeds of what makes the nearly-unclassifiable sake so unique and why Western audiences should pay attention.
