Producer - Chicago

Banner is looking for a full-time Producer to oversee the internal and external logistics of the video production process. The position will report to the Director of Operations and work directly with the Executive Producer, production and post-production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage every stage of production from advising during creative development to pre-production, production/shooting, post-production and delivering of a variety of content
  • Coordinate the hiring of crews, casting and talent selection, location scouting, negotiating vendor terms, processing vendor paperwork, and developing pre-production books
  • Collaborate closely with creative and production teams to facilitate and deliver best in class creative
  • Ensure clear communication lines and expectations between production, account service, and clients
  • Prepare and execute realistic project timelines for productions including staffing, talent, equipment and deliverables
  • Review new business RFPs, assess scopes and create budget estimates and proposals as assigned
  • Network and foster relationships with agency and production communities
  • Input and manage project details in PM system and ensure productions stay on budget and on schedule
  • Actively encourage and hold other team members accountable to foster a positive and productive work environment

Skills & Experience

  • Production experience working with a range of creative talent, including directors, editors, shooters, composers, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • Energetic, passionate, organized and creative

Senior Animator - Chicago

Banner is hiring a Senior Animator with a strong background in 2D and 3D graphics and a wide range of post-production skills. The Senior Animator will report to the Director of Animation & Design and will help lead various client projects while working collaboratively within and across departments.

  • Design and execute complex animations and visual effects for editorial and animation projects
  • Produce advanced 2D animations and provide creative solutions for 3D projects
  • Composite graphics seamlessly within footage
  • Create custom 3D models and animate them based on storyboards
  • Take creative lead on projects, manage deadlines and respond to client feedback efficiently and effectively 
  • Take direction and execute animations based on storyboards
  • Help maintain a high-quality animation standard

Skills & Experience

  • 6 - 8 years of experience in animation and graphic design (must have online reel and portfolio)
  • Strong background in 3D graphics including modeling, lighting, texturing, and rigging
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced animation problems
  • Ability to animate characters for 2D and 3D projects 
  • Expert creative problem solver with strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines and respond to client feedback efficiently 
  • Display strong organizational skills and adhere to brand guidelines and workflow standards 
  • Extensive experience with After Effects, C4D, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Familiarity with Video Copilot and Trapcode plug-ins
